Barcelona, Spain Restaurant Reviews
One area Barcelona, Spain does not fall short is in the food department. Tapas, sangria, pastries, and delicious seafood all satisfied our tastebuds while traveling in Barcelona. Here are a few places we checked out and would definitely recommend in the L'Eixample and Gothic District’s. I hope these reviews help to highlight a few of our favorites spots to find some amazing sips and chews in Barcelona.

So glad we found BierCaB while visiting Barcelona. This place had an amazing selection of beer on tap from all over the world! So be prepare to expand your beer horizons and try some from all over the world.
We each ordered a beer and decided to order a few items off the tapas menu so we could get in all the tastes. We ended up going with fried calamari, bravas, taco and grilled octopus. Everything we tried was very good although our favorites were the grilled octopus and calamari. The service was perfect they put up with both our attempts to speak Spanish and when we were in too deep our quick transition back to English. This is a great spot for their tapas and amazing beer selection in Barcelona.
Sensi

There are a few loves I have in life, travel, food, and oh yeah my husband. I hit the jackpot which had me smiling from ear to ear when traveling in Barcelona with my husband and finding Sensi for dinner. When you have a love for delicious food tapas are the the absolute best because you can try so many delicious bites and leave full.
We quickly and easily made a reservation online for shortly after they opened at 7pm because we were starving after a long day of traveling. We ordered the Sangria because when in Spain one must drink Sangria with their tapas (they even use paper straws!). After long deliberation since all the menu items sounded phenomenal we landed on: chorizo, burrata with cucumber and mint ice(our close second pick of the night), scallops(favorite of the night), cured salmon with mango, and of course we had to go for the paella! Everything was absolutely delicious although our top pick of the night was the scallops, I'm not sure the sauce that it had on top although it took everything inside of me not to lick the plate clean to avoid any drop of the sauce to remain uneaten.
The service and space/decor here are great and they even end the meal with a complimentary shot of what I believe was limoncello. This is a must try if visiting Barcelona. So grab a friend venture down the back alleys of the gothic quarter and bring your appetite. You and your full tummy can thank me later!
Praktik Bakery
Address: click here to locate on Google Maps (L'Eixample District) (click here to locate on Google Maps)
Rating: 5/5
This bakery has a dual purpose since it doubles as the lobby of the Praktik Hotel. What a neat concept! We didn't stay at the hotel but we did stop in for coffee and pastries.
We each got a pastry and an americano both we absolutely delicious! It was fairly crowded but we manage to snag a high top table in the front. This gave us prime viewing of all the bread and pastries being made fresh. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area and need a pastry to get the day started.
Have any favorite spots that I missed? Please share in the comments so others can check them out and I have another reason to go back to Barcelona!
Salud!
